Diego Cantor, a skilled software architect, and machine learning engineer with over 20 years of combined academic, research, and industry experience has excelled in education, finance, government, technology, and medical research projects. He holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Western University and has completed a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering at Universidad de Los Andes. He also studied Electronic Design and Automation Engineering, specializing in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at Universidad de La Salle.

Dr. Cantor is a superb communicator who has served as the Co-founder & CTO at Ezra, an Independent Consultant, and the CTO at Awake Labs, where he organized the Toronto Machine Learning Series. He has Postdoctoral experience in deep learning applied to medical imaging and held Industrial Training roles at CSIRO and Stagiare at CREATIS for his research works. As an Information Associate at EDS and a Project Leader at Informática Siglo 21 Ltda, he gained industry experience, which he turned into a successful career in machine learning, software architecture, and team management in multiple organizations.
