Mauricio dos Santos Simoes is a highly educated agricultural engineer with extensive experience managing and planning agricultural projects. He earned his Doctorate in Agricultural Planning from the State University of Campinas and his M.Sc. in GIS and Remote Sensing from the National Institute of Space Research. Additionally, he earned an MBA in Finance from Hult International Business School. With a passion for improving crop yields and ensuring efficient operations, he has held positions at several major agricultural organizations, including Sao Martinho SA, Guariba Sugarcane Growers Association, and Companhia Nacional de Açúcar e Álcool. He is currently a Senior Manager at Suzano Papel e Celulose, where he works to ensure the company's agricultural projects are efficient and sustainable. Before that, he was a GIS and Remote Sensing Leader at Copersucar Technological Center.
