Cesar Cornejo

Cesar Cornejo is a professional with over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, focusing on the transition to a 'carbon-neutral' economy. He currently holds the position of Responsible for Wind Energy Projects Development at ENGIE Latam and Leader of Renewable Energy Projects Development at ENGIE Energía Perú. His career has seen him progress from an Operator at thermal power plants to managing the construction of thermal and hydroelectric power plants. Cesar has expertise in developing projects based on natural gas, electrical grids, 24x7 renewable energies, and energy solutions for industrial clients. He also imparts his knowledge as a lecturer at the Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología (UTEC). Cesar is an Mechanical and Electrical Engineer graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, holding an MBA from ESAN and a Master of Science in Engineering and Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
