Celso Costa
Project development manager
Celso Costa is a highly experienced renewable energy consultant affiliated with MEGAJOULE since 2009, where he spearheads the solar energy department as a project manager and serves as the chief technical officer for research and development in solar technology, also expanding the company's international business ventures.
He holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and has also pursued European level A2.2 German Language studies at Goethe Institut.
With a strong background in wind energy, Celso has excelled as a senior consultant and project manager for both national and international wind projects, playing a pivotal role in initiatives like the Wind Index project done in collaboration with the APREN (Associação Portuguesa de Energias Renováveis).
He previously held key positions such as Head project manager and business developer for Solar Energy, Engineer for Wind Energy projects, Head project manager for the national Wind Index products, and Analyst/Engineer for both solar and wind energy projects at MEGAJOULE.
In a different professional capacity, Celso Costa has also served as the Project Development Manager at Voltalia, showcasing his diverse expertise and leadership in the renewable energy industry.
