    Celeste Layne, a Trinidad-born individual raised in Queens and currently residing in the West Village, is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in architecture, urban planning, and technology.

    She holds a MS degree in Critical, Curatorial, and Conceptual Practices in Architecture, Cultural Production from Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation, as well as a MCP in City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania.

    Celeste's educational journey also includes studies in Urban Regeneration / European Property Development & Planning at UCL and Civil Engineering at Columbia Engineering, showcasing her multidisciplinary approach to her career.

    Her professional experience is equally broad, having held various roles such as Co-Founder & CTO at /'gīdens/, Adjunct Associate Professor at Columbia University GSAPP, Founding Member at Architechie, and Software Engineer at prominent companies like theSkimm, Knotel, and Extra Card.

    She has also contributed extensively to the field of education, serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in subjects ranging from Coding for Spatial Practices to Computational Design Workflows at Columbia University GSAPP.

    Celeste's involvement in technology and design education extends beyond academia, having been an Instructor and Workshop Leader at General Assembly, covering topics like Software Engineering Immersive and Front End Web Development courses.

    In addition to her academic and tech roles, she has also engaged in urban planning and revitalization efforts, having worked as a Director for Corridor Revitalization at Jefferson East Inc and as a Project Manager for NYC DOT.
