Grossman holds a master's degree in crime scene investigation from The George Washington University, as well as a bachelor's degree in criminal justice/law enforcement administration from the same institution.
Grossman's professional experience spans multiple organizations, including Impera Intelligence Group, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, where they served as an intelligence analyst and case management specialist. Additionally, Grossman has worked as an investigative assistant at the Arlington County Police Department, an instructor of forensic workshops at the National Museum of Crime and Punishment, and an intern at multiple prominent law enforcement and government agencies, such as the ATF and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
