Cecil Horwitz

Cecil Horwitz is an accomplished registered acupuncturist specializing in women's health, preconception, and reproductive medicine. He has over 500 hours of clinical experience and excels in several TCM modalities, including tuina, cupping, and electro-acupuncture. Additionally, he has experience choosing appropriate treatments for atypical and challenging cases, and is skilled in preparing, ordering, prescribing, and compounding both singular and bulk Chinese herbs for both patient and company use.

Cecil is a graduate mentor in classical Chinese herbs, and his specialized graduate training in women's health, OB/GYN, pediatrics, and endometriosis makes him one of the most sought-after medical practitioners in his field. He is a member in good standing with the College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAAA), a clinical instructor at the acupuncture teaching clinic, MacEwan University, and a faculty professor at the same institution. Cecil's versatile teaching skills, ability to communicate with and demonstrate to all levels, and his passion for educating women, children, and families make him stand out in his field.

Cecil is also a graduate of the Mind-body medicine program at the Benson Henry Institute at Harvard University, and studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese Herbology at MacEwan University. In addition to his medical training, Cecil has also studied psychology at the University of Calgary.

Cecil founded and serves as an acupuncturist at the Whole Family Health and Pregnancy Centre, where he practices his holistic approach to medicine.
