CEcD Errin Welty is a community and downtown development specialist at WEDC with a strong background in economic and planning solutions.

She has worked as a market analyst at Vierbicher, focusing on market-based solutions for economic and planning issues for both public and private sector clients.

Errin has in-depth experience in planning and real estate, having been involved with downtown organizations in St. Cloud, MN and Denver, CO, and a founding member of Wheat Ridge 2020, an economic development organization in Denver.

Her previous role as the manager of Grubb & Ellis's research and marketing department in Denver involved real estate and economic forecasting, as well as planning assistance for developer and landlord clients.

Errin has held various positions such as Downtown Development Account Manager at the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, Economic Development Analyst at Vierbicher Associates, Associate Vice President at Grubb & Ellis, and Research Coordinator at Downtown Denver Partnership.

Apart from her professional roles, she has experience as a Fitness Instructor/OE Trip Leader at St. Cloud State University.

Errin Welty recently relocated to Madison, Wisconsin from Denver, Colorado, bringing a wealth of experience in economic development, market analysis, and real estate planning to her current role.
