Derrick Tang is an experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering, investment, and consulting. Derrick holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and has worked in various industries, including clean energy, air quality management, and software technology. As a former Senior Grant Manager at the California Clean Energy Fund (CalCEF) and Investment Associate at Horsley Bridge Partners, Derrick gained expertise in funding startups and managing investments. He also worked as an Energy Consultant at Nexant and as a Chemical Engineer at Symyx Technologies, further diversifying his skillset. Derrick currently serves as a Manager at the Bay Area Air Quality Management District and is a former Lecturer at ITBA. He also worked as a Cross-Media Specialist at Adobe Systems, gaining experience in the software and technology industry.
