Laura Spiekerman is a co-founder of Alloy, an API that helps financial services companies onboard more "good" customers securely. She studied political science and human rights at Barnard College and political science at Columbia University, and before co-founding Alloy, she was the Head of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Knox Payments. She has also worked as a Research/Investments Analyst in emerging markets at Imprint Capital Advisors, the Director of Marketing at Kopo Kopo Inc., and a Paralegal at Clayman & Rosenberg. At Brooklyn District Attorney's Office, she interned in the Rackets Division, and at Kasirer Consulting, she worked as an intern.

Spiekerman's expertise lies in developing business strategies and partnerships, especially in the fintech industry. Her interest is in creating technology that reduces fraud and risk while allowing more good customers to access financial services.
