Neelam Vaidya is a seasoned entrepreneur, technical project manager, and chemist. She has played significant roles in helping organizations in various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, biochemistry, textiles, and cosmetics, streamline their research and development processes. Her company, ViridisChem, Inc., provides an exclusive toxicity database of over 90 million chemicals and 2.5 billion properties to help companies reduce toxicity screening time for new drug targets and formulations from months to minutes. Vaidya's previous roles range from serving as the Founder and CEO of PointCare Systems, Inc. to being an Adjunct Faculty member at San Jose City College. She has also worked as a Sr. Technical Project Manager and Technical Lead at Sun Microsystems and IBM, respectively.

Vaidya is a holder of a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Jai Hind College Basantsing Institute Of Science And J T Lalvani College Of Commerce 23 24 Backba Reclamation A Road Churchgate Mumbai 400 020 and a Bachelor of Science from Bombay University. She also studied business at Stanford University Graduate School Of Business and holds a Master Of Science In Computer Science from Syracuse University.
