Katie Gilstrap is an accomplished educator and practitioner with extensive experience in various aspects of higher education. Gilstrap has worked in a variety of roles within the industry, both in the United States and abroad. Her passion lies in creating experiential learning opportunities that enable students to develop critical connections, creativity, and success on their own terms. As an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Virginia Commonwealth University and former Adjunct Professor of Marketing at the University of Richmond, Gilstrap has honed her educational expertise. Additionally, she has served as a Master Facilitator at the Ford Foundation and Senior Vice President, Director of Marketing at First Market Bank. Gilstrap holds an MBA in Strategic Leadership, Summa Cum Laude from the University of Richmond - Robins School of Business, and a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA, Marketing, Summa Cum Laude from William & Mary.
