Jason Black is a Principal at RRE Ventures, a venture capital firm where he analyzes B2B companies with a technical focus, particularly those related to machine learning, developer tools, infrastructure platforms, industrial internet of things, robotics, and traditional enterprise software. With a degree in Psychology and Computer Science from Harvard University, Jason previously worked at Microsoft as a Design Researcher, where he developed Office’s first dedicated startup analysis pipeline. Over the course of his career, he has served on the Boards of companies such as Boost, Lucy, and PebblePost, among others.

Throughout his professional journey, Jason has also been involved in various organizations, such as OpenEnvoy, Tive Inc, Rxdefine, PartnerStack, Wallaroo Labs, Parallel Domain, Latch, Redox, READY Robotics, Beeswax, Knock.com, GreatHorn, and Clearpath Inc, where he has held investment, observer, and board positions. Additionally, he founded the Harvard College Tech Review and served as its Editor-in-Chief, as well as worked as a freelance designer and photographer, co-Founding two student startups.
