Jeremy Binstock is an accomplished mechanical engineer turned patent attorney, focused on intellectual property (IP) law within the tech and science fields. Jeremy earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida before continuing his education with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center. Prior to pursuing law, Jeremy worked as both a Mechanical Systems Engineering Consultant and a Mechanical Engineer at Siemens Energy, as well as a research assistant at Green Liquid and Gas Technologies. Today, Jeremy is an Associate at Cooley LLP, where he specializes in advising clients with respect to patent validity and infringement, IP strategy, and patent prosecution. His technical background in mechanical engineering combined with his legal expertise allows him to better understand clients' concerns and provide sound legal solutions.
