Erin Kenzie
Erin Kenzie, a passionate researcher, consultant, and educator, holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Portland State University, a Master of Science (MS) from Lunds universitet, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Western Michigan University. Erin is an expert in systems-informed learning, with a focus on using systems mapping and modeling to support program development and evaluation by blending qualitative and systems methods. Her prior professional experience is largely within the nonprofit sector. Erin has been involved in a variety of modeling research projects, including a model of concussion recovery (www.dynamicsofconcussion.com).
Currently, Erin is a senior research associate at Oregon Health & Science University, where she works part-time as a systems-based qualitative researcher for the Oregon Rural Practice-based Research Network. She is also an independent consultant providing services and training in systems mapping and modeling, as well as academic publishing support. Previously, Erin worked as an adjunct faculty member at Portland State University.
With a strong interest in synthesizing evidence across multiple knowledge domains to inform decision making, Erin's main focus is on using systems methods to support program development and evaluation. Her academic background in sustainability science, psychology, and philosophy make her a well-rounded expert in various fields.
