Benjamin Stanzl is a seasoned entrepreneur based in California, passionate about developing innovative technologies into high-growth businesses that serve the energy transition and digitalization of industry. He has a rich academic background, holding a B.S. in Chemistry and Economics from Stanford University, an A.M. in Chemistry from Harvard University, and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Throughout his career, Stanzl has worked with startups on launching and investing in entrepreneurial ventures in the sustainability and energy sector. He is the Founder & Managing Director of Stanzl Investment Advisory and former Venture Partner - Europe at Energy Innovation Capital, where he helped to manage and grow the firm. Prior to this work, Stanzl has undertaken roles as Managing Director at Energy Innovation Capital, Management Associate at AECOM, Summer Associate at Prelude Ventures, Strategic Alliances Manager at Chevron Energy Solutions, Co-Founder at Trophos Energy, and more. Stanzl also worked for BMW AG and Bunge AG of North America. In his academic years, he has been a Teaching Assistant at Harvard University, Graduate Researcher at Ritter Group, and Undergraduate Researcher at Trost Group Stanford University.
