Alex Lucena is a highly accomplished entrepreneur with a diverse background in eLearning, human capital management, and organizational learning. Alex co-founded Brazil's first eLearning company in 1997 and later played a pivotal role in the formation of Affero, which became Brazil's leading company in solutions for human capital management and eLearning. With a strong family history and collaborative ties to Canada, Alex also worked as an executive at Desire2Learn, one of the fastest-growing providers of enterprise eLearning solutions worldwide. In 2014, Alex went on to found F1RST Ventures, a Brazilian private company associated with the Software Engineering Lab (LES) at PUC-Rio, and became CEO of 4H Technology in Health, a spinoff company that invests in healthcare businesses. Alex has studied marketing, entrepreneurship, and international business administration, achieving a master's degree from Nova Southeastern University and completing the MIT Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program (REAP) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
