Elizabeth Fishman is a skilled strategic communications and media relations expert, with extensive experience in event marketing and producing sophisticated programming. She is an excellent writer and researcher, adept at forging collaborative partnerships and navigating complicated bureaucracies. Fishman is fluent in French and comfortable working with a wide range of cultures and backgrounds.

Fishman worked for over a decade at CBS News, including six years as Associate Producer for CBS News “60 Minutes,” reporting on over forty stories around the world with correspondent Lesley Stahl. She spent 12 years at Columbia Journalism School in various roles, including Associate and Assistant Dean, Director of Special Projects, and Fellow in the Punch Sulzberger Program.

Currently, Fishman serves as Vice President of Strategic Communications at Sesame Workshop. In March 2017, she successfully raised the institutional profile of Sesame Street through messaging, creating compelling content, and placing stories with high-level journalists, including the first-ever feature about Sesame Street on "60 Minutes."
