Pesach Chananiah, a Depth Psychologist and community organizer, has dedicated his life to empowering communities and facilitating culture transformation in non-profits, social justice, and educational institutions. He holds a PhD in Depth Psychology, Emphasis in Community, Liberation, and Ecopsychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a Master's degree in Community, Liberation, and Ecopsychology. With a strong passion for teaching, Chananiah has worked as an Associate Teacher at Rabbi Jacob Pressman Academy of Temple Beth Am, a Teacher at Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills, Teacher at Temple Shalom of the South Bay, and English Literacy and Language Arts Teacher at Green Dot Public Schools, among others. Before his academic pursuit, he worked as a Lead Organizer at Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now and voter canvasser at America Coming Together. He also worked as a Wilderness Guide/Mentor at Wilderness Torah and as a consulting director of Faith & Ecology Programs at The Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development (ICSD). His rich and diverse experience in education, community organizing, and campaign consultancy has earned him an excellent reputation across the industry.
