With a strong educational background in clinical pharmacology, pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, he has pursued innovative R&D models that focus on global networking and polycentric innovation. As CEO of NextGen Pharma LLC, he demonstrated his management skills and expertise in drug development, life cycle management, and cost-effective drug discovery. Rashmi Barbhaiya has also held key positions in various organizations such as Advinus Therapeutics, Ranbaxy, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Sterling Pharma Solutions. He was also a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee at the Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative and the Global Antibiotic Research and Development Partnership. Rashmi Barbhaiya is currently the Chairman of the Advisory Council at the Institute of Life Science Entrepreneurship.
