Katrin Eismann is a renowned artist, author, and educator with an extensive background in digital imaging. Since 1989, she has been considered a pioneer in the field and has achieved numerous accolades in her career. Eismann holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photographic Illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Fine Arts in Design from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She has authored and co-authored several books, including "Photoshop Restoration & Retouching," "Photoshop Masking & Compositing," and "The Creative Digital Darkroom." Eismann is also a popular speaker at various conferences and is currently the chair of the Masters in Professional Studies program in Digital Photography at the School of Visual Arts.
