Television spots that I produced and edited ran on all four Hearst-associated channels in Northern California to promote programming, events, and our networks. I managed the equipment checkout lab for DANM graduate students, staff, faculty. This includes categorizing, organizing, cleaning, and maintaining various types of technology (including projectors, video cameras, still cameras, Mac & PCs, audio recorders and mixers, lighting equipment, sound systems, and gaming consoles). I gave particular attention to learning all I can about digital camera technologies including the Canon 5D Mark II and the BlackMagic Cinema Camera. Additionally, I managed two theatrical spaces in the Digital Arts Research Center of UC Santa Cruz, which required advanced knowledge of theatrical lighting and digital audio systems. I acted as a technical expert for the program in assistance to the Technical Coordinator to help graduate students execute and exhibit digital art.
