Project Officer Turkey / Heritage

SICA aims to stimulate and suport Dutch artists and foreign parties that are involved in cultural exchange with The Netherlands. 

As project officer, I was involved in the coordination and mapping of the cultural events of the Netherlands-Turkey celebration year. As part of this I was responsible for the secretariat of program council Turkey as well as for the contracting and monitoring of the project that receive support from it. In addition, I am also responsible for the updating the Cultural Exchange Turkey website as well as updating and maintaining the NLTR400 event website.

The International Hrant Dink Foundation has been founded by the family and friends of Hrant Dink in August 2007, after his assassination on January 19, 2007 to continue his work and legacy. 

The foundation aims to promote intercultural dialogue, eliminate all forms of discrimination and iencourage the society to embrace a culture of peace and reconciliation. 

I helped with the preparation of  a project proposal with a two partner NGO’s and I assisted with the hate speech conference and workshop.
