Prashant Kothari
Prashant Kothari is a successful serial entrepreneur with a strong background in finance, real estate, and jewelry manufacturing. He founded India's first modern jewelry manufacturing factory in 1987, which grew rapidly and became a market leader in the space. After receiving an MBA, Kothari entered the financial services industry and held multiple positions, including working in the Office of the President at Freddie Mac. There, he realized the inefficiencies in the real estate industry, inspiring him to launch String Real Estate Info Services in 2005, with a focus on streamlining real estate processes. Despite the 2008 recession, Kothari's dedication and the company's high-performance work culture allowed String to thrive and eventually become a market leader in its space. In 2019, String was acquired by SitusAMC, the world's largest mortgage due diligence and QC firm. Kothari is actively involved in industry associations, teaches at universities and schools, and is a member of EO, TiE, and TCA.
