Stephanie Culler is a groundbreaking industry leader in the biotechnology and academia fields. With a proven track record in delivering innovative technological advancements in metabolic engineering, bioinformatics, synthetic biology, and cell biology, she is highly skilled and knowledgeable in her area of expertise. Her doctoral training in molecular biology and post-doctoral work in embryonic stem cell systems biology has equipped her with a broad range of skills and knowledge. Stephanie's professional experience includes having served as a Co-Founder & CEO of Persephone Biosciences, Sr. Research Scientist at Genomatica, HHMI Postdoctoral Scholar at California Institute of Technology, among others. She has also actively contributed to Synberc, AIChE, iGEM, DARPA, and NSF by devising industrial-relevant synthetic biology technologies and creating collaborations between academia and biotechnology industries. She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Caltech, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from UC San Diego.
