Practice focuses on civil litigation with experience in a wide variety of matters including antitrust, labor and employment, contract disputes, and federal habeas corpus.Recent experience includes:Representing a supplier of parts for a water treatment facility in toxic tort litigation pending in Los Angeles Superior Court.Representing capitally convicted inmate in federal habeas corpus proceedings based on claim of actual innocence.Assisted with representation of Berkeley Productions in contract dispute regarding product placement and licensing agreements, ultimately resulting in an arbitration award of $1,650,000. Participated in Atkins litigation challenging a death sentence based on the inmate's intellectual disability, resulting in the death sentence being vacated.Participated in a federal habeas evidentiary hearing on competency and on the subsequent appeal to the Ninth Circuit.
