His academic journey includes studying Political Science and Government at MiraCosta College for his Associate's degree and later at San Jose State University for his Bachelor's degree. This educational background has equipped him with in-depth knowledge and understanding of political systems.

James has a diverse professional experience, having worked in various roles such as Media Planner at Lockwood Strategy Lab, Client Services Manager at RTBiQ, Campaign Specialist at Red2Blue Political, Digital Strategist at RTBiQ Political, and more. These positions have honed his skills in media planning, client management, campaign strategies, digital marketing, and social media coordination.

Prior to his roles in media and marketing, James served as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Honda at the U.S. House of Representatives, showcasing his commitment to public service and government affairs. He also held positions such as Social Media Intern at Robinson Communications and Field Representative Intern at the California State Senate, further expanding his understanding of policy-making and community engagement.
