Tanya Balaraju is an accomplished software engineer with a diverse background in community and code. She graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, earning a GPA of 3.75. Throughout her career, Tanya has garnered extensive experience, working with well-known organizations such as Google, Datadog, and Rutgers University. She started her engineering journey in the industry-leading Engineering Residency Program at Google, working there as a software engineer and honing her skills. Tanya is also a former Fellow at hackNY.org, where she proved essential to the organization's continued success. Along with her technical skills, Tanya is an adept community director, previously taking charge of USACS.
