Bill Batterman is an accomplished and highly respected high school debate coach and instructor with a wealth of experience and achievements under his belt. Throughout his career, Batterman has coached top speakers and champions at many of the most prestigious national debate circuit tournaments. In addition to coaching high school students, he also teaches at various summer debate institutes and workshops. His YouTube channel offers many examples of his lectures. The Wisconsin Debate Coaches’ Association Coach of the Year, St. Mark’s School of Texas Acolyte, National Debate Coaches Association Service, and Educator of the Year Awardee have also served as President of the WDCA, Secretary of the Georgia Forensic Coaches Association, and Board Member of the NDCA.
