He holds a Master's degree in Interaction Design and an Intermediate Diploma in Industrial Design & Interaction Design. His professional experience spans across different roles, including app developer, product owner, creative director, UI designer, creative technologist, consultant, and strategist.

With over a decade of experience in UX design, Jannes has held significant positions at prominent organizations such as GitHub, Microsoft, Daimler Fleetboard Innovation Hub, McKinsey & Company, and Fjord. As a Principal Design Manager at GitHub, he leads and manages all design-related projects and initiatives. In his previous role at Microsoft, Jannes was responsible for building and managing the design team for To-Do & Wunderlist.

Jannes is a master at blending agile development methodologies with UX design processes, resulting in optimal products that align with user needs and business goals.
