My role as director of customer engagement videos for our medical device, pharma and biotech clients finds me on the road, behind the camera, and in the lives of remarkable patients, KOLs and researchers.

Collaborated with UW Central Marketing strategists, designers, and SEO specialists to create and launch a singularly focused section on the UW website featuring 8 early childhood topic areas. Coordinated with a steering committee of 6 acclaimed researchers across UW's campus to collect and organize a wealth of early childhood research for inclusion on the site.Produced and directed a documentary style overview video defining the project and its mission.MissionThe Early Childhood Collaborative was an internal partnership among 40+ world-class departments at the University of Washington with the goal of providing community and academic access to a breadth of early childhood research. Reaching completion in December 2010, the project coalesced content in eight important Early Childhood Development topic areas, including childhood learning, health and welfare, and policies.

Connecting dedicated supporters to the mission of Cancer Pathways (previously Gilda's Club Seattle), a Seattle-area cancer support organization, was not only full-time job, it was deeply rewarding, as well. As the Director of Donor Relations, I invited members of the greater Seattle area to support GCS's mission of helping families living with cancer. It was also my pleasure to lead the organization in fund-raising events, including the 2006 Red Door Campaign, a public art fundraiser, featuring the works of Seattle-area artists.

Generated magazine and newspaper story ideas, and pitched those ideas to national, regional, and local publications. Published more than 250 articles and feature stories. Shaped, wrote, and edited speeches for keynote presenters. Developed a calendar, website, and line of greeting cards for cancer patients benefitting the American Cancer Society. "The Great Thing About Chemo" was a tongue-in-cheek look at the "benefits" of going bald during chemotherapy.
