Research and Development Chemist II

- Work with teams in all aspects of innovation, formulation, testing, design and management of products from concept to launch
-  Responsible for bulk and package stability, package functionality testing, PET, HRIPT, safety testing and miscellaneous product testing (adenosine, water activity, etc)
-  Responsible for OTC testing, including stability testing, method validation, SPF, Critical Wavelength
-  Review and approve regulatory documentation, including ILs, global reviews, formulas and registration documentation
-  Regulatory review/approval of all marketing copy and creative material
-  Responsible for international registrations – EU, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Canada
-  Attend trade shows and industry seminars to source new ingredients, contract manufacturers and packaging suppliers and remain up-to-date on industry trends and regulations
-  Work with formulator to recommend active ingredients to PD and on how to optimize laboratory batch procedures and conduct scale-up testing on new formulations as necessary
-  Attend all pilot batches and production batches at the contract manufacturers
-  Evaluate and approve bulk and finished good batch submissions
-  Prepare and finalize QVC claim substantiation forms
-  Address customer service ingredient and formula inquires and adverse product reactions.
-  Responsible for all Clinical testing - requesting quotes, preparing protocols, creating consumer perception questions, and creating claims from the reports

- Work with teams in all aspects of innovation, formulation, design and management of products from concept to launch
