As a Managing Director in the Forensic, Litigation & Valuation Services Group of Whitley Penn, Jamie has led and performed valuations of businesses and intangible assets for various purposes including financial reporting, tax, acquisition, divestiture, and financing requirements. His expertise primarily includes purchase price allocation for financial reporting and tax purposes, goodwill impairment testing, gift and estate valuations, share-based compensation valuations, and tax restructuring.
Jamie's industry experience spans across various domains, with a particular focus on energy, which he has been devoted to for the past decade. He has advised many clients in the energy sector, including oilfield services, midstream operations, upstream, and mining. Additionally, he has advised clients from diverse industries such as technology, biotechnology, industrial products, specialty retail, real estate, healthcare, and financial services.
