Prior to his tenure at Google, Podwal was a Sr. Product Manager and Product Manager at Amazon, where he oversaw the development of Amazon Devices and Kindle e-readers respectively. He also worked as the Director of Creative Operations at Songs Music Publishing. Podwal studied at Columbia University, where he obtained an MBA in Management of Technology and Entrepreneurship, as well as a BA in Political Science.
