For community service, I've attended this winter camp as a counselor since 2013.  These responsibilities generally include helping manage and teach the youth that come to this camp.  For the last few years, I've also been working with the organizers of a winter youth camp to apply my acquired IT skillset and help modernize their organization.This modernization effort started simply by updating their website to something that could be viewed on a mobile device, and eventually (with the help of former coworkers from Pariveda Solutions) updating their registration system entirely.In Q4 of 2019, I developed a mobile app for the camp to help counselors have camper, guardian, and camp schedule information at their fingertips -- allowing all counselors to better serve the campers and be as knowledgeable as possible.As the organization continues to move towards the 2020 winter camp, I'm working more closely with the organizers and counselors to develop an IT strategy to continue to refine the organization's digital presence and improve internal processes.
