Catriona Hayes

Catriona Hayes is a highly qualified professional with extensive education in the field of medicine. She pursued her LRCP & SI, MB, BCh in Medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, followed by Basic Specialist Training in Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland. Additionally, Catriona completed her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focusing on multiple myeloma drug resistance at Dublin City University.

Throughout her career, Catriona has held various positions in prestigious organizations. She currently serves as a Dermatology Specialist Registrar (ST6) at HEE East of England. Previously, she worked in lower registrar positions, from ST3 to ST5, within the same institute. Catriona also has experience as a Dermatology Registrar at the Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust and as a Haematology Registrar at multiple healthcare institutions including RIG Locums Limited, Barts and The London NHS Trust, and Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.

Catriona's academic journey includes research roles as well. She has been a PhD Candidate at the National Institute for Cellular Biotechnology, Dublin City University. Catriona also worked as a Research Fellow at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, showcasing her diverse experience in both academic and clinical settings. Her early medical career includes roles such as Medical Senior House Officer at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and an Internship at Beaumont Hospital.
