Catrina Lucero

Catrina Lucero is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer at the Washington State Health Care Authority.

With a strong background in financial operations, external relations, quality assurance, and staff development, Catrina oversees and provides strategic guidance to the agency.

Before her current role, Catrina held the position of non-partisan senior fiscal analyst at the Washington State House of Representatives, offering valuable staff support to the Appropriations committee on health care matters.

Catrina's experience extends to the international arena, where she worked as a project manager and program evaluator for a consulting firm in Seattle and Boston, conducting evaluations, workshops, and training sessions across South East Asia, East Africa, and Latin America.

During her academic pursuits, Catrina engaged in research and assistantship roles at the University of Washington, focusing on areas such as social enterprise and 3rd sector administration in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Catrina's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master's in Public Administration with a Certificate in International Development and Policy Management, all obtained from the University of Washington.
