Catrina Carrigan is a dedicated Intel Women in Technology Scholar pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Enterprise Computing at Dublin City University with an expected graduation year of 2020.
She has gained valuable industry experience through internships at Intel Labs Europe and Quark Solutions Division as part of her scholarship program.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Catrina holds a pivotal role as Director of Teen-Turn, an award-winning EU Digital Impact Organisation, where she was one of the inaugural advisors and contributed significantly to the program's development.
Her achievements have been recognized by various prestigious entities, including being named 'One to Watch' on the Women Invent: Top 100 Women in STEM list by Silicon Republic in 2014 and awarded 'Top Role Model 2014: Rising Star' by the same organization.
Catrina's exceptional intellect and contributions have also been acknowledged by The Times Magazine, which included her in the list of 'One of the 15 smartest kids on the planet' in 2015.
