Cathy Cook

Cathy V. Cook is a strategic communications consultant with over 20 years of experience specializing in content strategy and messaging for various industries such as high tech, industry associations, conferences, and public policy.

Her recent focus has been on providing strategic communications and counsel to tech companies where she collaborates with CEOs to establish company positioning, messaging, and competitive advantages in the market.

With a background spanning more than three decades in the tech communications sector, Cathy brings a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective to her work.

She gained foundational experience at Regis McKenna in the 1980s, handling the Intel account, and has since honed her skills in writing, content development, and translating technical information into effective marketing materials.

Apart from her consultancy work, Cathy has been actively involved in organizing technology-focused conferences, overseeing tasks like message development, speaker selection, and topic curation.

She holds an MPA in Science and Technology Policy from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor of Arts in Russian and Chinese History from McGill University.

Currently serving as the Principal at CVC Consulting, Cathy has previously held roles in conference planning, strategic communications, public relations, and speaker management at various organizations.
