    Catherine H. Tinsley, also known as Cathy Tinsley, is The Raffini Professor of Management and the Academic Director of the Executive Masters in Leadership Program at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.

    She serves as the Faculty Director of the Georgetown University Women's Leadership Institute and is a Zaeslin fellow at the college of Law and Economics, University of Basel.

    Dr. Tinsley has a significant background in collaborating with prestigious institutions and organizations. She has worked with the White House and U.S. State Department on woman-to-woman mentorship summits and convened the first worldwide meeting of the Ministers of Women's Affairs in partnership with the U.S. State Department and the Council of Women World Leaders.

    Dr. Tinsley's expertise extends to enhancing people's receptivity to opposing viewpoints and studying the impact of culture, reputations, and gender on negotiation and conflict resolution. Additionally, she explores how individuals make decisions under risk and how implicit beliefs about gender influence attitudes and behaviors.

    She is a sought-after speaker and has presented at prestigious events such as The World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, discussing topics related to workforce confidence and women's economic empowerment. Dr. Tinsley has also shared her insights on negotiation, conflict resolution, and gender dynamics in various media outlets including The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, CNN, and more.

    With a rich educational background, Dr. Tinsley holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Science from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Bryn Mawr College.

    In her role as The Raffini Professor of Management at Georgetown University, Dr. Tinsley continues to make significant contributions to the fields of management, leadership, and gender studies.
