Cathryn Taggart is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in communication and media studies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Northridge, where she majored in Communication and Media Studies. Over the years, she has worked in various capacities, honing her skills in public relations, marketing, and media outreach. She has served as the Learning and Engagement Coordinator at San Francisco Botanical Garden Society, where she spearheads the development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive program for visitors, youth, and families. Prior to that, she held several positions at leading communication agencies, including Edelman and Glodow Nead Communications, where she worked with national and international clients across sectors.
At Edelman, Cathryn held the position of Senior Account Executive, where she led the development and execution of strategic communication plans and managed media outreach campaigns for various clients in the corporate and consumer sectors. At Glodow Nead Communications, she worked as an Account Coordinator, where she played a pivotal role in coordinating PR activities, drafting press releases, and developing media lists.
