Catherine Thomas

Catherine Thomas is a Business Development Manager with extensive experience in the corporate and legal sectors, with a strong focus on technology and digital innovation. She currently works at Bird & Bird, a leading law firm, where she oversees a team responsible for acquiring new clients and building the company's global reputation. Prior to her current role, Catherine held positions at Outlier Ventures, London & Partners, and Chambers and Partners, among others.

Catherine has established herself in the start-up, enterprise, and investor community, with strong ties to UK and international government bodies. With a background in data analysis and legal research, she brings a unique perspective to her work, which has included corporate partnerships, investor relations, and global expansion strategy for technology companies across a range of sectors, including SaaS, fintech, retailtech, and deep tech.

Catherine's professional background is grounded in her education, which includes a Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Studies from King's College London, as well as an International Baccalaureate-Bilingual Diploma from The British School of Costa Rica. She is fluent in Spanish and has lived and worked in Latin America and Spain, which has given her a deep understanding of the cultural and business practices of that region.
