Catherine Alexandra Powell

Catherine Powell is a college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History of Art and a minor in Linguistics from The Ohio State University. Catherine has an expertise in post-war and contemporary art and has worked in the art market field. She has experience working with digital media services at Sotheby's and has worked as an intern at well-known auction houses such as Christie's and Phillips. Catherine's experience extends to administrative internships and docent positions at museums and galleries, including Neue Galerie New York and Wexner Center for the Arts. Catherine has also completed a semester abroad in the Arts and Society Program at Bard College Berlin. Additionally, she has studied an online course at Sotheby's Institute of Art, focused on Understanding Legal Concepts in the Art World.
