Catherine Love

Catherine Love is a dedicated professional committed to advancing the Ontario and Canadian life science sector through a multifaceted career.

Her diverse experience includes working as a sell-side equity investment research analyst, a venture capital investor, and in corporate investor relations & finance, as well as contributing to the establishment of not-for-profit industry organizations.

She holds a CFA Charter in Financial Analysis from the CFA Institute, an MSc in Organic Chemistry from the University of Toronto, and a BSc in Biochemistry from McGill University.

Currently, Catherine Love serves as a Senior Advisor at MaRS Discovery District, specifically focused on Capital - Health Ventures.

Her previous roles include serving as a Senior Director at the Ontario Bioscience Innovation Organization, handling investor relations at Medicago Inc. (later acquired by Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma) and MDS Inc., and working as a Director in Venture Capital - Life Sciences at BDC Venture Capital.

Earlier in her career, Catherine Love also gained experience as an Equity Research Analyst in Pharma and Biotech at Research Capital (now Mackie Research Capital) and as a Project Manager in Pharmaceutical Development Services at Patheon.
