Catherine Gascoigne

Catherine Gascoigne is a highly-educated legal scholar and educator with extensive experience in teaching, research, and community outreach. She earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Law from the University of Cambridge, where she also served as a supervisor for graduate teaching workshops and as Vice President and Secretary of the Cambridge Homeless Outreach Programme. Prior to that, Gascoigne studied at the University of Oxford and the University of Sydney, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law degree.

With a strong background in academia, Gascoigne has worked as a sessional lecturer at the University of Technology Sydney and as a research fellow at the University of Melbourne. She has also been involved in various editorial roles, such as Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor of the Cambridge Journal of International and Comparative Law.

Gascoigne has also gained practical experience in the legal industry, working as a General Associate and Junior Associate at Baker & McKenzie, a global firm specializing in corporate and commercial law.

Through these various roles and experiences, Gascoigne has developed expertise in legal research and writing, teaching and mentoring, community engagement, and corporate law.
