Catherine Datta
Clinical Project Manager
Catherine Datta, a registered Naturopathic physician, has a diverse background in clinical research and technology. She began her career as a Quality Assurance Engineer, testing software for medical devices such as the Baxter mobile infusion pump, and later managed a clinical trial while also being exposed to GMP. Catherine joined Roche Molecular Solutions at a time when they had selected Veeva Vault, and she initiated and led a pilot eTMF working group. In this role, she led change management efforts and participated in global alignment meetings to harmonize the use of Vault eTMF. Following her time at Roche, Catherine worked at IQVIA as a Clinical Research Associate, where she was exposed to processes, integrated systems, and BI tools that enabled her and her team to make more efficient and effective data-driven decisions.
Catherine's passion for translational medicine and her ability to explain technology in light of the business process have made her an asset to the organizations she has worked for. She is an active participant in helping evolve clinical research processes to become more efficient, bringing new medicines to the world faster.
