Catherine Connelly is a successful entrepreneur and senior executive in the online dating industry. Co-founder of myYearbook with her brother in 2005, the company merged with Quepasa Corporation in 2011 and was renamed MeetMe, going on to acquire Skout, if(we), LOVOO, and GROWLr before being sold for $500 million in September 2020. Catherine currently serves as Senior Vice President of Marketing at The Meet Group, which includes MeetMe, Skout, Tagged, LOVOO, and GROWLr. The Meet Group runs several of the most popular dating apps, with millions of daily users and billions of minutes of video chat each month. Catherine is in charge of marketing, leading her team in exploring new features to deliver the company's mission to meet the universal need for human connection. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing, Management, and Psychology from Georgetown University, as well as an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
