Catherine Benz-Jackson

Catherine Benz-Jackson is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background. She holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Sustainability Science and Practice and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Energy Strategy and Engineering, both from Stanford University. Prior to her university studies, Catherine attended Walt Whitman High School.

Catherine has gained significant experience in various organizations, holding a prominent role as the Director of Strategic Value Creation at Sidewalk Infrastructure Partners (SIP). She has also served as an Associate at SIP and previously worked as an Investment Associate and Infrastructure Summer Associate at Sidewalk Labs. Catherine has interned at Zendrive in a Product Marketing capacity and was also a Mayfield Fellow at the Stanford Technology Ventures Program. Her involvement extends to teaching as part of the Creativity & Innovation team at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford (d.school). Catherine has been an active member of the Student Advisory Council at the Human Cities Initiative within Stanford University and has participated in programs such as the SUPER Program and internships with various organizations including WattIQ (formerly Ibis Networks). Furthermore, Catherine has a background in community service, having volunteered at the World Resources Institute and served as the Hospitality Senator at Stanford University.
