Cat Reid

Cat Reid is a former journalist turned lawyer, specializing in advocacy, accountability, and freedom of information.

With six years of experience in journalism, Cat has worked as an investigative reporter for 41 Action News in Kansas City, focusing on consumer complaints, scams, product safety, and housing issues.

She has also excelled as a general assignment reporter and led news shows while specializing in local government reporting.

During her time in Huntsville, Alabama, she kick-started an investigative unit, revealing cases of embezzlement and shedding light on open records problems in city government.

Cat is an alum of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, where she was actively involved in news reporting and also completed a journalism internship in Lansing, Michigan.

Proficient in various editing and news production software, including Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, Edius, iNews, and ENPS.

Cat holds a Juris Doctor degree from Duke University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University.
