Mrs. Anderson is the Office Manager at Joseph Bernard, LLC, and is responsible for company marketing, property advertisement and research, client management, and human resources.  Mrs. Anderson works closely with the company Brokers, Principal Brokers and President to meet their company’s staffing, equipment, and organizational needs.

Mrs. Anderson has over eight years of experience in customer service and client relations. Before joining our team, she was a Technical Illustrator and Purchasing Assistant for a large manufacturing plant. There she was recognized numerous times for her outstanding customer service, and her ability to grasp concepts quickly, which led her to helping various departments within the company.

Mrs. Anderson is also actively involved with The Ronald McDonald House charities, where she volunteers her time helping with various events around the metro area. Mrs. Anderson enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Mrs. Anderson just bought her first home and loves spending time fixing it up. In her free time she goes backpacking, fishing and hiking with her dog Jake.

Office Manager

Assist with developing, implementing, facilitating, and evaluating the Life Enrichment programs.
Show awareness of department policies and procedures.  Be able to communicate best practices to staff, residents and families.
Coordinate activities with other departments.
Organize and facilitate resident outings into the community as determined by their interests and abilities.
Provide necessary adaptations (creative or supplies) to meet individual resident needs.
Plan and participate in special events.
Assist with publishing a monthly calendar and facility newsletter.
Recommend supplies and materials needed to support Life Enrichment programs.
Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies. Assist with reviewing and developing a plan of correction for deficiencies noted during survey inspections.
Review and resolve departmental complaints and grievances and communicate to the Life Enrichment Director of action(s) taken as appropriate.
Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining an ongoing quality assurance program for the Life Enrichment department.
Use creative problem solving to address resident needs.
Participate in the planning, conducting, and scheduling of timely in-service and orientation training classes.
Partner with the Life Enrichment Director to recruit, train, organize and supervise volunteers.

Reasonable knowledge of bookkeeping principles, particularly as applied to governmental

Receptionist

The maitre d’ works closely with all the staff members to ensure good communication between the wait staff and the kitchen. In addition to overseeing the general operation of the dining room, the maitre d’ ensures that patrons have a good dining experience. The maitre d’ is often responsible for managing the restaurant’s reservation system. Some restaurants use a host or hostess in lieu of a maitre d’. The expediter or expo fills orders and checks to make sure they are correct in the kitchen, then hands off the orders to the food runner who transports the food to the dining room. The servers then present the food to the diners. When diners finish their meals, bussers clear the tables and take the dishes to the kitchen for the dishwasher to clean.
